Is there an admission price to enter the park?
No, there is no admission price to enter the park. Both entry and parking are free.
Do the tracks have age and height requirements to drive?
Yes, both. Customers must meet both the age and the height requirement to drive. Please review age and height requirements before purchase. Long hair must also be tied securely above the shoulder.
Are flip flops or sandals okay to wear to drive the go-karts?
Grand Prix recommends that customers wear sneakers or closed-toe shoes to drive a go-kart but it is not a requirement. However, sneakers or closed-toe shoes are required to climb on the Climbing Wall.
How long is each race?
Each go-kart race is 3-4 minutes.
How many tickets is each race?
It is one (1) Ticket or Wristband per kart. Passenger rides free in double-seat go-karts and on Spin Zone.
How old does a child have to be to ride as a passenger?
Passenger must be a minimum of 2 years old and be able to sit up by themselves to ride.
Do Tickets expire?
No, Tickets do not expire. Tickets can be redeemed at any time. Wristbands will expire at the end of the allotted time purchased; ending time is printed on the Wristband.
What happens if it rains?
In the event of rain, Grand Prix will continue to operate as long as possible but the park may close down until it is safe to reopen. If you used a Ticket and your ride is ended early, you will be given a replacement Ticket. If you have a Wristband and the park closes due to rain, a Raincheck will be given for the amount of time remaining on the Wristband. No refunds. Rainchecks and Tickets do not expire.
Do you offer Military Discounts?
Yes, Grand Prix offers special Military Discounts. Present a valid ID to the cashier at the time of purchase.
Can I bring my pet into the park?
Service dogs trained to perform a task directly related to a person’s disability will be allowed entry.
Do you offer Group Discounts or Birthday Packages?
Yes. Please send an email to info@grandprixoc.com to request group rate and birthday party information. Groups and parties but be booked 48 hours prior to reservation time and require a deposit at time of booking.
Is the park open year-round?
No, the park is not open year-round. Grand Prix is open daily April thru September and then open weekends until Columbus Day Monday in October. Hours are weather permitting. Hours of operation and available tracks & attractions vary throughout the year. Please see our Home Page for a list of current attractions open.
